The links on these pages are arranged by their broad subject area, using the Dewey Decimal System. The Dewey Decimal System is the way that books are organized in our library. If, for example, you had a book from the shelf with a Dewey number in the 800's (Literature), you can find Web sites on similar topics in the 800 section on this page.  Or, if you were looking at the Web sites in the 900's, you'd know that you could go to the bookshelves in the Library in the 900's and get books on similar subjects.
