One of the mandates of the Centennial Foundation is to provide a bursary aid program for the students of Centennial Academy. Each year, the Foundation provides bursary aid to allow students at Centennial Academy to "Reach Their Potential". The bursary program is in place to provide assistance to those students who could not attend Centennial Academy without financial aid. There are two main bursary programs currently in place: Centennial Academy and College Faculty Bursary
The Faculty Bursary is directed towards those Centennial students who would normally not consider a private school education. It is hoped that this bursary fund would allow greater access to the benefits of Centennial Academy and College. To be considered for a Faculty Bursary a student must show:
1. A commitment to learning
2. Proven effort and progress in previous studies
3. Respect for peers and teachers
4. Proven financial need
Centennial Foundation Bursary
Centennial Foundation bursaries are awarded to students at Centennial Academy and College who require financial assistance in order to attend.
An independent screening firm will determine financial need for both of the bursary programs. Bursaries normally range from $1,000 to $8,000 per year per student.
