Director of High School The Director of High School will work closely with the Head of School and will be a key member of the Senior Administration team. In order to fulfill this mandate, the Director of High School will be responsible for faculty leadership and supervision, professional development, and ensuring that students have the means to fulfill their potential. This role will also be a pivotal interface between the faculty, the Director of Academics, the Director of Student Success and the Director of Counseling Services. Qualifications for this position include: solid academic credentials and a teaching background, preferably at the secondary level; senior level administrative experience obtained in an independent school setting, familiarity with an IB school an asset; self-confidence, optimism, persistance, flexibility and stamina, as well as demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to focus on student needs; a direct, clear and consistent management style, approachabilty and compassion; and open, fair and friendly communicator with superior interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills in English. |
