Great Minds Think Differently

Centennial Academy recognizes that each student has strengths and weaknesses as a learner. We accept our students' challenges and we look at them as our teaching opportunities. Our students are bright, creative and dynamic individuals, so we tailor our program to be as cutting-edge and forward-thinking as they are. Teachers are highly trained in a variety of teaching strategies and are continually adapting presentation of the curriculum to be as interactive, hands-on and visual as possible. This enables our students - students of all learning abilities - to grasp the material and understand it in a more realistic way. At Centennial, students and teachers are thinking differently about learning and that has led our students to reach their full potential.

The Measles Vaccination Campaign 2011-2012 is underway and we are obliged to provide proof to the Santé et Services sociaux that all students have been vaccinated.

Students will receive their pamphlet on Wednesday, January 11th and are required to return the completed form with a photocopy of their vaccination booklet to their homeroom teacher within 48 hours.

Free vaccination will be offered at a later date, determined by the CLSC, at the school to students who are not vaccinated or cannot prove they have been vaccinated.

Students who cannot prove they have been vaccinated and refuse vaccination could be removed from the school should a case of measles in the school occur.

Please consult the following website for more information on the Measles Vaccination Campaign http://www.msss.gouv.qc.ca/vaccination
